Next of Kin Information in AIR | Attention Practice Managers, Front Desk teams and Practice Nurses! In order to make every childhood immunisation count (to reach the 24/12 childhood immunisation target), it is vitally important that every patient, under the age of 16 years, has a next of kin recorded in the AIR form. The name, phone number and relationship MUST be included.
We strongly recommend that this information is included at the time of the immunisation as this gets easily forgotten and your hard work and activity towards achieving the immunisation target is not properly recorded.
Please ensure the next of kin details are correctly entered in the PMS on enrolment and/or the next time the whānau/family visits the practice.
Please remind agency or temporary nurses about this also.
