Julia is our Manager of Planning and Performance and joined the PHO in July 2021.

Julia's portfolios include practice engagement operations, contract management, reporting and strategic development.

Tanya is our Manager of Mental Health and Wellbeing and joined the PHO in August 2020.

Siobhan Matich

Clinical & Quality Manager

Siobhan started at the PHO in August 2023. Her role involves supporting general practice teams within the Auckland PHO network with the implementation, socialisation and monitoring of PHO and associated Te Whatu Ora initiatives, contracts and programmes in order to deliver evidenced-based best practice.

Aaron Piano

Clinical Advisor: IPC, Vaccinator and Cold Chain Competency Assessor

Aaron is our Clinical Advisor for IPC, Vaccinator, and Cold Chain Competency Assessments and joined the PHO in July 2021.

​

Aaron's role is to assess practice staff for Vaccinator and Cold Chain compliance, and provide IPC advisory services.

Shanaz is our Immunisation Services Coordinator and joined Auckland PHO in December 2020.

​

Shanaz's portfolios include Childhood Immunisation, Healthy Mamā Healthy Pepī, and the Best Start programme.

Alison Brown

Clinical Nurse Advisor

Alison joined the PHO originally in October 2018. After an extended leave to travel the world in late 2023, Alison joined back with the PHO in April 2024.

​

Alison's role is to support and assist our practice nurses with training, and has oversight over Health Improvement System targets.

Emma joined Auckland PHO at the beginning of February 2022 to support our clinics during the COVID-19 surge as the Covid Navigator.
