ACC Business Gateway Discontinued
| Please be advised that the ACC eBusiness Gateway will no longer be available from 3 April 2026 and recommendation from ACC to start using the PMS tools from 20 March 2026. Most Practice Management Systems (PMS) include equivalent ACC functionality. If you are unsure whether these tools are enabled in your system, please contact your PMS help desk to review your current configuration. If ACC functionality is not yet available within your PMS, we recommend requesting access to ProviderHub, ACC’s managed platform for digital service delivery. Access can be arranged by contacting ACC directly. For Medtech practices, Shannon will circulate a separate email confirming the appropriate Medtech contact person should assistance be required. |
Eligibility for Patient Enrolment to Primary Care Services
| We have recently received a number of queries from practices regarding the eligibility criteria for patient enrolment in general practice. It is important that only eligible individuals are enrolled, as there is a risk of funding clawback where a patient is incorrectly enrolled. The Health New Zealand website provides clear guidance on eligibility criteria. We recommend that this link —Eligibility for publicly funded health and disability services is made available to all practice staff responsible for enrolling patients. If you are unsure about a patient’s eligibility, please contact shannon@aucklandpho.co.nz for clarification. |
Winter Planning and Auckland PHO Funded Influenza Support | Health NZ is currently updating its Winter Playbook, which will be circulated to practices once it is finalised. We are also working through the influenza funding support arrangements for our practice network and will advise you shortly on what will be available. |
