Erin Thompson resigns
| It is with regret that we announce the resignation of Erin Thompson, Auckland PHO’s Practice Management Advisor.
Over the past 12 months, Erin has provided the Auckland PHO network with exceptional management and administration support and advice, including Foundation Standards.
Erin and her whānau are relocating to Ōtautahi, Christchurch and her last day at Auckland PHO is 24 April.
Good progress has been made in the search for our next Practice Management Advisor, and we are hopeful that Erin’s replacement will soon be employed. In the meantime (after 24 April), please contact Siobhan Matich - siobhan@aucklandpho.co.nz or Ashley Hulme - ashley@aucklandpho.co.nz for all practice management queries.
During the transition phase, Erin will continue to provide ongoing support with Foundation Standards and enrolment audits, where remote access is available.

Enrolment status when patient overseas for 180 consecutive days
| A reminder that in the event a patient informs the practice that they are moving overseas for more than 180 consecutive days (6 months), they should be disenrolled from the patient register.
This means they will be removed from health target denominators and saves precious time during recalls.

Recording CVD Medication Exemptions in Indici | After submitting the Mōhio CVD Management Form, providers using Indici would previously have to enter medication exemptions manually into the diagnoses field. We are pleased to announce that exemptions will now be written back automatically when submitting the Mōhio CVD Management Form.
Note: Medication exemptions are currently being written back automatically for providers using Medtech Evolution or MyPractice
You can read more about medication exemption write backs and the associated codes in the updated CVD Risk Assessment and Management Programme Guide.
