Under Four Years Influenza Vaccination List of Children | 0-4 years Influenza Vaccinations Te Whatu Ora/Health NZ recommend that children who have been hospitalised with a respiratory condition aged 0-4 years or have a chronic medical condition are immunised against influenza. It’s important to encourage immunisation for this group of patients as it prevents further hospitalisations from respiratory illnesses that impact their whānau/families. Now is the time to commence the recall process and invite these children for their influenza vaccination in readiness for the current 2026 Flu season.
