Guide to Releasing Deceased Person’s Medical Notes | Auckland PHO has developed the Guide to Releasing a Deceased Patient’s Medical Notes to support practices when responding to requests from family members or executors/administrators of the deceased person’s estate. The guide provides practical information to assist practices in navigating requests for access to a deceased patient’s medical records, including considerations under the Privacy Act and Health Information Privacy Code. The document is also available in the Auckland PHO Resource Library under Forms, HR and Support (password: aucklandpho) |
PSAAP Negotiations: Funding Uplifts | Negotiations continue between the caucuses representing all general practice groups and Health New Zealand to secure the best possible funding uplift for the sector. Once decisions have been finalised and the parties are able to share the outcome, we will arrange a virtual meeting for practice owners and managers to provide an overview of the agreed package and what it means for practices. All parties remain committed to reaching an agreement well in advance of the 1 July 2026 implementation date for the funding changes. |
