| Health NZ has notified PHOs that the six-week immunisation measure that formed part of the 2025/26 performance is not currently proposed for inclusion in the 2026/27 performance framework. While improving childhood immunisation remains a priority for Health NZ there is a Clinical Advisory Group which is considering which immunisation indicators should be included from 1 October 2026 and in future versions of the framework. For the first quarter of 2026/27, there will be no baseline, target, or associated funding linked to the six-week immunisation measure while this work is underway. The 24-month immunisation measure remains in place through the System Level Measure programme. |
