Additional CPR Session for Nurses
| Funded CPR Training – October 2026 Our next funded Level 4 CPR training session is scheduled for October 2026. If you require a current CPR certificate before then, please contact emma@aucklandpho.co.nz Where there is sufficient demand (a minimum of 8 participants), we can arrange an additional Level 4 CPR course to help practice nurses meet certification requirements. Please let Emma know as soon as possible so we can coordinate an additional session. |
Mira Platform Rollout Update
| We are pleased to report that the rollout of the new Mira data and digital platform is progressing well. Our phased implementation is continuing as planned, with the aim of bringing two to three practices live each week until all practices have successfully transitioned. Subject to this continuing progress, Mōhio will be retired at the end of August. As with any new system, there are opportunities to refine and improve the platform as practices begin using it. We are maintaining comprehensive issues register and encourage practices that have had Te Pokapū forms installed to let us know if you identify anything that is missing or not working as expected. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve the platform for everyone across the network. Please send feedback via the Auckland PHO IT Helpdesk which can be located in the Dynamic Integrations tab in Medtech. For Indici practices, this will be found under External Links. Development of the full Qlik reporting suite is also progressing. Reporting functionality is currently being tested to ensure the data is accurate and reliable before release. We expect to make the Immunisation and HPV / Cervical Screening reports available soon, with additional reports to follow as testing is completed. Thank you to all practices for your patience, feedback, and support during this transition. We appreciate the collaborative approach everyone has taken and look forward to continuing to enhance Mira to provide a more efficient, user-friendly, and insightful platform for general practice. |
Care Extra name back to Care Plus | Care Extra is now Care Plus To avoid any confusion, you will notice that we are now referring to Care Extra as Care Plus, which is the funding's official name. There has been no change to the funding or the funding amount (post 1 July), only the terminology has changed. If you have previously referred to this funding as Care Extra, please be assured it is the same programme, simply using its correct name going forward. |
