Oral Health Month – 3rd Week Focus
| Oral health month 3rd week focus | Workforce & Advocacy: Meet the people behind your smile This week, we're shining a light on the people who make good oral health happen every day. From oral health therapists, dentists and dental assistants to community advocates and support staff, it takes a dedicated workforce working together to keep our communities smiling. As we celebrate the oral health workforce, don't forget one of this month's key messages: Lift the Lip. Taking a few seconds to regularly lift your child's lip and check for early signs of tooth decay can help identify problems before they become serious. Please refer to the attached poster resource for further information. Together, let's recognise the people behind oral health services, support advocacy for better oral health outcomes, and help keep our whānau smiling.
