Data & Digital Platform Update
| Mira rollout progressing across the network The rollout of our new Data & Digital platform, Mira, is continuing across the Auckland PHO network, and we are pleased with the progress being made. We are continuing to work through the installations with practices, with our aim of having the network fully transitioned from Mōhio during August. For our Indici practices, the installations are taking a little longer than originally anticipated. This is due to the additional work required around the servicing coding updates to ensure the data flows correctly into the new platform. We appreciate your patience while this work is completed and expect to have the remaining Indici installations completed shortly. CVD and Diabetes reporting coming soon: One of the exciting developments is the new CVD Risk Assessment and Diabetes reporting that will soon be available through Mira. We have had an early look at the reporting functionality, and what we have seen so far is impressive. The new platform will provide significantly improved visibility of practice activity and performance, making it easier to understand your data and identify where further action may be needed. The CVD and Diabetes reports will be made available to practices shortly, along with further information on how to access and use them. Introducing a new data platform across a network of more than 100,000 enrolled patients is a significant piece of work, and we appreciate the time and effort practices have put into the rollout. We know that system changes can create some disruption, but we are confident that Mira will provide a much stronger platform for reporting, claiming and using data to support better outcomes for our patients and practices. We will continue to keep you updated as the remaining installations are completed and the new reporting functionality becomes available. |

Introducing Stepanie Vance – Auckland PHO’s Foundation Standards Assessor
| Auckland PHO has contracted Stephanie to undertake Foundation Standards Assessments for practices across our network. The Auckland PHO team will contact Stephanie when the practice is near ready to be assessed to introduce and plan the steps ahead. Stephanie brings 40 years of nursing and nurse management experience, including extensive experience as a senior practice nurse. She is keen to support practices through their Foundation Standards assessment process and make the experience as straightforward and painless as possible! While Auckland PHO funds Stephanie to undertake these assessments, practices may also choose to engage and fund their own assessor. If you would prefer to arrange your own assessor, the RNZCGP website provides the names and contact details of Foundation Standards Assessors located across the country. We hope this support will make the assessment process easier for practices and provide an opportunity to identify areas where further support may be helpful. |
