Fee Increases for non-VLCA practices
| Last week, practices who are not VLCA funded were sent a spreadsheet by Ashley Hulme, containing increased funding recommendations and any residual amounts not used in previous years.
There is also an opportunity to increase the adult copay to $65.00 without the need to be referred to Te Whatu Ora Fees Review, despite being over the allowable percentage.
Please respond back to Ashley with confirmation (or not) as soon as possible. For queries on this, ask Ashley ashley@aucklandpho.co.nz

End of an era for Dr Roger Leitch and Gertrud Leitch
| Dr Roger Leitch was in the first cohort at the Auckland Medical School class to graduate with a medical degree and he was one of the first GPs to join Auckland PHO. Roger has special interest in spinal health and along with his wife Gertrud (whom he met in Germany) have operated from their small niche practice - Raphael Medical Therapy Centre in Mt Eden. As part of his retirement plan, Roger has moved his small patient base to One Health in Remuera and plans to work there on a part-time basis. On behalf of the Auckland PHO Board, past and present staff, we wish you both well and wish you the best in your (semi) retirement. |
