Gender Diversity in Primary Care
| Foundation training is now available for Gender Diversity in Primary Care. This course is open to anyone working in primary care and covers useful background information and data; language, terms, and practical language tips; and tips and tools for allyship and in building a welcoming inclusive practice for trans and non-binary peoples. Consultation: Medical Aspects of Fitness to Drive
| NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) is consulting on the revised Medical aspects of fitness to drive: a guide for health practitioners (MAFTD). This is the first significant review of MAFTD in over 10 years. Since the last review of the guide, advancements in medical technologies and practices mean the existing version of the guide needs updating. NZTA is seeking feedback on the proposed changes from health practitioners as well as impacted industry organisations and interest groups. After reading the summary of proposed changes and draft revised MAFTD you can submit your feedback by completing an online form. You can submit your feedback until 27 September 2024. |
Rongoā Māori – Partnering towards healthy and thriving communities | Presented by Collaborative Aotearoa, this webinar will highlight how the healthcare sector can give effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi by supporting, resourcing and empowering whānau Māori to access indigenous healing practices as an option alongside Western models of medicine.
