Capitation Back Payment | Capitation back payments will be paid to practices tomorrow. The back payment is the calculated variance between the payment you received in July based on the 2023/24 capitation rates, and the amount that would have been paid under the 2024/25 uplifted capitation rates provided to PSAAP on 17 July 2024 and implemented via compulsory variation following the meeting.
On behalf of their practices, PHOs have asked Te Whatu Ora for interest on this payment. Te Whatu Ora have sought legal advice on the matter and will confirm next week.

Pertussis | There have been several confirmed pertussis cases on Waiheke and a timely reminder to be vigilant for signs of whooping cough, particularly in infants under 12 months.

See the Pertussis Auckland Region HealthPathway page for notification information or a suspected or laboratory identified case.
