Barbara Stevens

CEO

Barbara was appointed CEO in August, 2004. She has a nursing and adult teaching background and has extensive experience in healthcare management in both Primary Care and NGO sectors.

Barbara’s role includes:

  • Managing the implementation of New Zealand’s Primary Health Care Strategy
  • Design and implementation of clinical and non-clinical Primary Care services for the PHO
  • Relationship management

Barbara's qualifications include:

  • Registered Nurse
  • Diploma in Adult Teaching
  • Diploma in Counselling

Suzie Whittaker

Business Services Manager

Suzie moved to NZ from Zimbabwe in December 2005. She joined Auckland PHO in June 2006. Suzie has an accounts background and has experience in Medical Research

Suzie’s role includes:

  • Financial Accounts
  • Contract reporting
  • Business Services

Suzie's qualifications include Bookkeeping, Diploma in Personnel Management and a Certificate in MYOB

Sue Camsari

IT Operations Manager

Sue moved to NZ from the UK in 2008. Appointed in 2009, Sue has worked with commercial and non-profit organisations since 1994.

Sue’s role includes:

  • Supporting the internal network, server, desktop users and the website.
  • Supporting member Practices with the implementation of new technology and educational support in medical software features.
  • Development of reporting tools.

Sue's qualifications include:

  • BSc Open Degree
  • Certificate in Professional Management
  • Certificate in Computing

Lulu Padotan

Clinical Facilitator

Lulu has a Nursing background with a passion for long term conditions management. She also enjoys supporting nurses in developing and extending their roles in Primary Care. Lulu has previous experience in nursing management and leadership.

Lulu’s role includes:

  • Facilitate PHO Initiatives and Programmes to Member Practices
  • Develop Practice Nurse Education and Competencies for Auckland PHO Practice Nurses
  • Quality development and maintaining the standards of quality

Lulu's qualifications include:

  • Registered Nurse
  • Postgraduate Cert in Health Sciences (specialising in Long term conditions)
  • Working towards a Post Graduate Diploma in Primary Health care

Ana Tkaczyk

Corporate Support/CME Co-Ordinator

Ana joined Auckland PHO in 2008, Ana has 30 years experience in office management and has a PA/Secretarial background.

Ana’s role includes:

  • Primary Mental Health Co-ordinator
  • CME Co-ordinator
  • Reception
  • Corporate support

Marion Howie

Immunisation Coordinator

Experience in Practice, Occupational Health Nursing, and teaching and facilitating Vaccination Training Courses.

Marion’s role includes:

  • sharing knowledge and experience with practice staff
  • providing practical support in the use of PMS to improve immunisation rates and the capture of immunisation figures
  • assisting with the development of immunisation policies, processes and procedures
  • collation of practice resources

Marion's qualifications include:

  • BA
  • Diploma in Teaching
  • R Comp N
  • PG Cert Health Sciences
